Metro Credit Union Named 2025 Diamond Award Winner

CHELSEA, MA — April 11, 2025 — Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, announced today that it has been recognized with a 2025 Diamond Award by the Marketing, PR & Development Councils of America’s Credit Unions. The Diamond Awards are an annual national competition recognizing top marketing campaigns from credit unions across the U.S.
Metro Credit Union received recognition in the Video Commercial: Single or Series category for its “Shaped by Members” 2024 marketing campaign. The “Shaped by Members” campaign focused on Metro brand, checking, home equity, and student loan messaging. As part of a larger integrated marketing effort, the campaign included out-of-home advertising, digital advertising, and radio spots, while the video commercials were promoted in targeted ads across a variety of digital channels.

Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted 1,400 submissions for the prestigious awards. In all, 180 organizations from 42 states were selected as winners. For more than 30 years, the Diamond Awards have celebrated excellence in credit union marketing.
