Celebrating Student Success: Metro Credit Union Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Chelsea, MA – July 29, 2025 — Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, proudly announces the recipients of its 2025 Scholarship Program. Eighteen exceptional local students have been awarded scholarships to support their pursuit of higher education during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Metro’s annual Scholarship Program recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to their communities. To be eligible, applicants must be Metro members or have a parent or guardian who is a member, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to attend an accredited undergraduate or vocational-technical institution during the 2025-2026 academic year.

“At Metro, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities and we’re proud to support these exceptional students as they take the next step in their academic journeys,” said Robert Cashman, President and CEO, Metro Credit Union. “Their achievements, leadership, and dedication to service are inspiring, and we look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years ahead.”
