Metro Expands Field of Membership
Metro Credit Union announced the expansion of its field of membership to include the New Hampshire counties of Rockingham and Hillsborough.
The expansion, which was voted on by the credit union’s membership on October 9th, was initiated due to requests from members who work in Massachusetts and live in New Hampshire, who were unable to add family members to accounts because they did not qualify for membership.
By expanding its field of membership to southern New Hampshire, Metro gains the opportunity to assist individuals and businesses that live, work, or have a place of business within the cities and towns located in Hillsborough and Rockingham counties.
“This is a very exciting time for Metro as we expand to our neighboring New Hampshire counties,” said Robert M. Cashman, Metro’s President and CEO. “We listened and responded to members and are now able to bring all New Hampshire residents and businesses located in the Rockingham and Hillsboro counties the competitive financial products and services offered by Metro.”
To become a member of Metro, New Hampshire residents are encouraged to apply online at MetroCU.org.
