Metro Credit Union Welcomes Kim Monahan, SVP Senior Commercial Credit Officer
Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-charted credit union, today announced that Kim Monahan has joined as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Credit Officer.
In her role, Monahan is responsible for leading the Commercial Services team in providing guidance to Metro’s commercial loan officers. This process includes identifying risks, structuring credits to mitigate such risks, and ensuring the organization’s credit quality is sound.
Monahan brings nearly two decades of financial services experience to her position at Metro with a focus on credit risk management. Prior to joining Metro, she served as Senior Vice President at Santander Bank, Vice President at TD Bank Group, Vice President at Capital Crossing, and Assistant Vice President at Salem Five Bank. She has also held positions at Bay State Federal/Compass Bank and Eastern Bank.

Monahan earned her Bachelor of Science from Endicott College. She serves as an advisory board member for Uncommon Goods, a program of Family Services of the Merrimack Valley. She lives in West Newbury with her husband and step-children.
