Dawn Dawson Names Vice President Mortgage Originations and Operations
Metro Credit Union announces that Dawn Dawson has been named Vice President, Mortgage Originations and Operations. In this role, Dawson’s responsibilities have expanded to include management of the mortgage originations team while continuing to oversee mortgage operations. Dawson has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry management including originations, operations, and secondary market. Dawson’s dedication along with Metro Credit Union’s commitment to expansion including technology, product offerings and exceeding industry standards will provide the ultimate benefits to not only the mortgage team, but also Metro’s membership.
Dawson first joined Metro Credit Union in 2012 and has been instrumental in elevating the mortgage operations department to better assist members through training, development, and encouraging maximum efficiency. She holds a seat on the Board of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association, the largest mortgage association in New England and is a 2015 recipient of the Cooperative Credit Union Association and Warren Group’s Credit Union Rising Star Award.
