From my first Metro account at 13 to making deposits at my high school branch, Metro is where my financial journey began. In the past two years, I’ve taken on new roles that challenged me to lead, learn, and serve more boldly. I’m grateful to do work that has a tangible impact: from helping kids start their financial lives and standing alongside neighbors/members building financial confidence and stability, sometimes for the first time. Metro has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and the communities we serve keep me inspired every day.

When I started my career at Metro nine years ago in Member Services, I was unsure and inexperienced. Over time, I gained confidence and skills as I moved through Risk & Compliance, BSA, and now lead the Financial Crimes department. Metro has empowered me with invaluable resources, support from leaders and peers, and fantastic perks. I'm grateful for this second career and excited to see what the future holds!

I joined Metro Credit Union in 2010 as a mortgage processor, and from day one my purpose has been helping members feel confident and informed on their path to homeownership. Today, as Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Originations, I champion simple, transparent lending that empowers families to put down roots in our communities. What inspires me most is witnessing the moment a member turns their dream into a reality, it’s the spark that keeps motivating me to remove barriers and make the experience for the next homebuyer even better.

Maybe it was the numbers, but from day one, September 9, 2019, at 9 a.m., I knew Metro would be a great chapter for me. I’ve grown so much at Metro, since I first joined as part of the Learning & Development team, to my move into HR where I now serve as Employee Experience & Engagement Manager. My role is all about our employees: turning feedback into action, shaping development pathways, and creating inclusive, genuinely fun moments that strengthen belonging. I love Metro because it’s a place where my own journey and the employee experience can grow together.
