Metro Credit Union Welcomes Jason Truong, VP Commercial Relationship Manager
Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-charted credit union, today announced the appointment of Jason Truong as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager.
In his role, Truong is responsible for overseeing and managing the business relationships of Metro’s commercial members with personal service. He will complement and support the Commercial Lending team’s focus on offering innovative financial solutions that help establish and improve the surrounding communities served by Metro.
Truong has more than a decade of commercial lending experience. His professional expertise covers lending, asset management and business banking all with attention to the local market. Most recently, Truong served as Vice President, Asset Management at Northeast Bank; prior to that, he was a Vice President at The Cooperative Bank, Commerce Bank, Eastern Bank, and Radius Bank.

Truong earned his Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. He is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and completed its Boston’s Future Leaders Program and is fluent in both English and Cantonese. Truong also volunteers as board member and treasurer for Friends of Medford Rowing.
