Metro Credit Union welcomes Eric Gilliland, Vice President, Commercial Lending
Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-charted credit union, today announced that Eric Gilliland has joined the organization as Vice President, Commercial Lending.
In his role, Gilliland is responsible for originating commercial real estate loans and managing the existing commercial lending portfolio.
Gilliland brings more than 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry with a focus on commercial real estate lending. Prior to joining Metro, he held senior-level lending positions at TD Bank, Webster Bank, Washington Mutual, and GE Capital.
“Eric’s vast knowledge and many years of experience make him an excellent addition to the commercial lending team at Metro,” said Kevin Malone, Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender, Commercial Services. “I’m grateful for the fresh and nuanced thinking he brings to the group and am confident in his continued success here.”
Gilliland is the Treasurer of the Marblehead Festival of the Arts. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Salem State College. He lives in Marblehead with his wife and three children.
