Metro Credit Union Expands Field of Membership
CHELSEA, MA – December 11, 2024 – Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, today announced that it has expanded its field of membership to include Merrimack and Strafford counties in New Hampshire.
A special meeting of Metro’s membership was held on October 30, at which time the membership approved a by-law amendment expanding Metro’s membership to include Merrimack and Strafford counties. With the recent expansion, Metro membership is available to anyone living, working, owning a place of business, or attending an educational institution in the following counties:
Massachusetts: Barnstable, Bristol, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk, and Worcester counties
New Hampshire: Cheshire, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham, and Strafford counties
Family members of eligible individuals are also eligible for Metro membership.
