CHELSEA, MA — March 28, 2024 — Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, today announced that it has been recognized with a Diamond Award by the Marketing & Business Development Council of America’s Credit Unions. The Diamond Awards are the Council’s national marketing competition and recognize top marketing campaigns from credit unions across the U.S. in the past year.

Metro was honored in the Out-of-Home category, for its “Shaped by Members” Spring 2023 Campaign. The “Shaped by Members” campaign focused on Metro brand awareness, mortgages, checking, and student loans. As part of a larger integrated campaign, the Out-of-Home ads were featured on digital billboards in targeted branch location communities and wrapped on local transit buses.

Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted a record 1,451 submissions for the awards this year. In all, 168 organizations from 44 states and the District of Columbia were selected as winners for this year’s Diamond Awards.
