CHELSEA, MA, July 20, 2021 – Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-charted credit union, today announced its plans to open a new branch at 240 Andover Street, Peabody, in the fall of 2021. The new location will join Metro’s first branch, located at 68 Main Street, in the north shore city and become Metro’s 15th office overall.

The branch will offer Metro’s full suite of consumer and business products as well as access to an ATM and coin counter. In addition, the Andover Street location will include dedicated resources for mortgage lending, commercial banking and investment services.

The Peabody branch will have the following open hours of operation:

▪ Monday – Wednesday 9:00AM – 5:00PM

▪ Thursday – Friday 9:00AM – 6:00PM

▪ Saturday 9:00AM – 1:00PM

Metro will be partnering with Massachusetts-based design firm NES Group to develop the new space. NES is a leader in providing all aspects of bank design and project management and has a long-standing relationship working with Metro.
