Metro Credit Union Launches Redesigned Website to Improve Member Experience
CHELSEA, MA, February 25, 2021 – Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-chartered credit union, today announced that it has launched its redesigned website, taking a more modern, streamlined approach in providing product information and other digital content to its more than 225,000 members. Key revisions include a total reorganization of content, user-centric navigational updates, and enhancements to visual design. This is the first significant overhaul of the website since 2013.
In addition to enhanced product information, the new website places a strong emphasis on the financial education and wellness of its members with easy access to a robust library of digital assets including calculators, courses, articles, and more. Based on extensive research and expert advice, these resources provide members with accurate, up-to-date information with topics ranging from saving and budgeting, retirement planning, credit card debt, first-time home buying, and more.
“We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for our members to reach their financial goals,” said Marie O’Neill, Senior Vice President, Member Engagement and Experience. “By providing them with better access to the valuable resources they need to be successful, we are guiding our members toward making financial decisions that will leave them feeling confident and secure.”
The updated website also reflects Metro’s outstanding workplace environment centered around an inclusive culture, strong community involvement, and forward-thinking momentum. In 2020, Metro added 56 employees to the organization, and continues to seek applicants in 2021, particularly for its newest branch location opening in West Roxbury in May.
