Metro Credit Union Launches Auto Leasing Program with Credit Union Leasing of America
CHELSEA, MA, March 2, 2021 – Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-chartered credit union, today announced that it has launched an auto leasing program through its partnership with Credit Union Leasing of America (CULA). The new vehicle leasing program provides an additional lease option to auto dealers. Metro is one of only two credit unions in Massachusetts to offer an additional lease option to auto dealers in partnership with CULA.
Nearly thirty percent of new cars are leased rather than sold nationwide. Thus, there is a huge demand for auto loans across the country. The new partnership offers Metro the opportunity to provide products and services directly to members who would previously only connect with Metro through a leasing agreement. From an organizational standpoint, working with CULA will also diversify Metro’s own portfolio of assets.
“We welcome the opportunity of partnering with CULA, and in turn, introducing new individuals to the Metro family,” said Maria Justiniano,” Senior Vice President, Lending. “Through their positive leasing experience, we’re confident that they’ll be members for life.”
