January 2, 2019
Metro Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Marlene Collins to the position of AVP Sales Manager. Collins is responsible for developing individual and team sales plans, providing coaching and mentoring support, and ensuring sales goals are achieved in all departments.
Collins first joined Metro in January 2011 as AVP Branch Area Manager for Metro’s Boston market where she was responsible for ensuring that all branches were staffed, achieved operational excellence and exceeded retail goals. A veteran of financial services, Collins has over 27 years of experience in the field. Prior to joining Metro, Collins held the role of AVP Branch Manager at Eastern Bank and VP Branch Manager at Bank of America.
“We’re excited to have Marlene in this integral role within our sales team,” says Marie O’Neill, SVP, Member Engagement, Experience and Marketing. “Her proven success in sales, as well as her expertise in training and mentoring staff will be instrumental to Metro’s success as our business continues to grow.”
A resident of Everett, Collins enjoys spending time at her vacation home in Maine with her family and two dogs. She is a longtime supporter of the local Maine animal shelter where she collects much-needed supplies for rescues.
