Metro Credit Union Announces New Board Member
Robert Cashman, President and CEO of Metro Credit Union, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bion Foster to Metro’s Board of Directors. A veteran of the financial services industry, Foster will serve on the Investment Committee and the Credit Committee.
Foster brings to the Board more than 44 years of experience in financial services. He served as Vice President of Management and Recovery at Metro for eight years, and was the President and CEO of NE Teamsters Federal Credit Union from 1995 to 2006. Previously, he held vice president positions at both Fleet Bank and Bank of New England. He is an alumni of St. Anslem’s College and has completed programs at Harvard Extension School and the American Bankers Association’s National Consumer Lending School.

A resident of Melrose, Foster enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, traveling, and supporting his favorite sports teams.
