Metro Credit Union Completes Merger with Newton Municipal Credit Union - Metro Credit Union, Massachusetts’ largest state-chartered credit union, today announced it has completed its merger with the Newton Municipal Credit Union, switched all members over to Metro Credit Union’s modern banking platform, and converted the City Hall branch.

Small Business Resource Fair Headlines Metro Credit Union's Support of America Saves Week - Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, will host a Small Business Resource Fair at its Broadway branch in Chelsea, Mass. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.  The branch is located at 365 Broadway in Chelsea.  The event is part of Metro CU’s participation in America Saves Week, which runs across the country all this week.

Metro Credit Union Donates to Citizens for Adequate Housing - Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, presented a donation of $500 in new, warm blankets as well as a check for an additional $500 to Peabody-based Citizens for Adequate Housing.  The donation was made at Metro CU’s branch at 68 Main Street in Peabody.  Branch employees also donated another $135 during the presentation.
