Our Partners

Community Ambulance and Health NetworkMetro is committed to creating lasting partnerships with organizations of all sizes and in all sectors of the community. We support numerous organizations that share the common mission of community empowerment through education, financial literacy, housing initiatives, and providing opportunities to underserved communities.

Here are some of the organizations that we currently partner with:

Citizen’s For Adequate Housing
Citizen’s For Adequate Housing works to end homelessness one family at a time by providing a dignified, nurturing and supportive environment that empowers each family to reach its social and economic potential. Metro supports CAH by donating blankets and toys, fundraising through employee dress down days and by providing financial education to CAH clients.

CONNECT
CONNECT, a financial opportunity center, assists clients at every step of their journeys to financial stability.  CONNECT addresses educational, employment, financial and housing needs. Metro and five other organizations bring services to CONNECT clients under one roof.

Everybody Wins!
Everybody Wins is devoted to promoting children’s literacy and a love of learning through shared reading experiences and caring individuals. Metro employees volunteer on a weekly basis to read to a child during their lunch hour.

Inversant
Inversant (formerly FUEL) believes that higher education is attainable for all, regardless of income, and that family engagement is crucial to the students’ educational achievement. Metro works with Inversant assisting families with college savings. Inversant partners include LaVida in Lynn, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, Boston University Upward Bound, Neighborhood House Charter School, Trinity Education for Excellence Program, City of Chelsea, and KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate.

Lawrence Community Works
Lawrence Community Works (LCW) offers an array of asset building opportunities to its members, ranging from matched savings for asset ownership and financial education, to homebuyer education, adult basic education, youth development, and leadership development. Metro values and supports the work of LCW through volunteerism, financial education and account management.

The Haven Project
Haven Project works with unaccompanied and at-risk young adults in the City of Lynn. Metro supports clients with financial education and coaching.

The Neighborhood Developers
The Neighborhood Developers (TND) believes great neighborhoods empower people to grow and prosper. TND’s mission is to build vibrant and diverse neighborhoods with homes that are affordable to families with a mix of incomes, where people choose to invest in the social fabric, economic opportunities, and built environment. Metro Credit Union participates with TND on many initiatives including financial education, volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) and Chelsea Thrives.
