Metro Credit Union Donates to Citizens Inn, Inc.

CHELSEA, MA, February 17, 2017
Metro Credit Union recently participated in the annual blanket drive and hosted an employee dress down day fundraiser to provide warmth and aid to families in need in our local communities. The blanket drive is in partnership with Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
Metro’s Peabody Branch Manager. Carole Buckley and VP of Marketing, Gretchen Coughlin recently visited Citizens Inn, Inc. in Peabody to present over 100 blankets and
a check for $1,000 to Gianna Langis, Communication
& Development Associate at Citizens Inn. Citizens Inn’s mission is to break the patterns of instability that lead to homelessness for every family served.

“We are happy to be able to participate in a program that creates stability and hope for families in need,” said Metro President and CEO, Robert Cashman.
