Saritin Rizzuto Named to El Planeta’s Powermeter 100 List

Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, announced that Saritin Rizzuto, AVP Community Relations & Business Development, has once again been named to El Planeta Publishing’s Powermeter 100 (el Poderómetro 100) list of the most influential members of the Latino community in Massachusetts, the newspaper recently announced. This is Rizzuto’s second consecutive time being named to the list.
 
Rizzuto joins other notables on the list, including Gov. Charlie Baker, Mayor Martin T. Walsh, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and Red Sox star David Ortiz.
 
"Saritin is a tremendous asset and resource to the Hispanic community,” said Robert Cashman, President and CEO of Metro Credit Union. "She works tirelessly on a number of different initiatives and volunteer activities within the Latino community. The entire Metro family is proud that she has once again been recognized for her hard work.”

Rizzuto has been with Metro Credit Union for over eight years and is a leader in many nonprofit and civic organizations. She is a board member of Casa Myrna, Massachusetts Diversity Committee Coalition, The East Boston Social Center, The Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, Governor’s Public Education Nominating Council and the Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce among others.
The Powermeter 100 honorees were honored at El Planeta’s annual event held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on June 2, 2015.
