Metro To Host Credit Seminar Series This Fall

Chelsea, MA (September 15, 2015) – Metro will host a credit seminar series for its membership this Fall. The seminars will be taught by Matt Paradise from American Consumer Credit Counseling. Paradise touches upon topics such as the information needed to create a good score, the importance of good credit and provided tips on how to improve your credit score.

“Credit stress is top of mind in the day to day lives of our members.  It impacts one’s ability to obtain low cost financing, potential employment and housing. This can be very costly to the average consumer,” said Charlene Bauer, SVP Community Relations of Metro Credit Union.  "Our goal at Metro is to empower our members with knowledge. Learning how to establish, manage and rebuild credit will provide members with greater flexibility and options. This will ultimately help Metro members achieve their financial goals, which is our primary goal.”

Metro’s Chelsea branch will kick off the series on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 6PM. The other credit seminars are October 8, 2015 in Framingham and November 5, 2015 in Tewksbury. For more information on these and other Metro events, please go to: metrocu.org/events
