Metro CU donates $25,000 to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home

Chelsea, Mass. (January 27, 2012) – Metro Credit Union  recently donated $5,000 to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, the fourth  installment of a five-year commitment totaling $25,000.  Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home provides high quality skilled nursing and residential care to those who are  too frail or debilitated to live at home, and are suffering from medical  complications of age, including dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease.

The funds represent a multi-year commitment to  support the expansion of the skilled care facilities located on Admiral’s Hill  in Chelsea.  “We are delighted to make this donation to benefit the Chelsea  Jewish Nursing Home and to support the citizens of our community.  One of our  main goals is to provide support to the communities we serve by continuing to  fund programs and services that improve the lives of people in our community,”  said Robert M.
