Security Alert: Text Message Scam

Beware of the following scam:

Some credit union members have reported receiving a text message similar to the one below:

"Your credit union card has been suspended, please go to your personal link,  http://hashtag/hashtag/shiftedlands.com/activate - online to unblock it".

Another one:  http://shiftedland.com  phone number 406-961-7468

Phone numbers associated with the text are: 406-206-9492 and-406-873-8827. 

If you receive a similar message, DO NOT respond to this message. This message is not from Metro Credit Union. At this time, Metro does not communicate with members via text message. This type of scam is considered vishing. For more information on vishing, click here.
