Traci Michel promoted at Metro Credit Union

 

Boston, MA - May 14, 2011- Metro Credit Union President and CEO Robert Cashman announced that Traci Michel has been appointed to the position of Branch Manager for the Commonwealth Ave branch office.

Mrs. Michel joined the credit union in 2009 as a Branch Supervisor in Metro's Chelsea office, and then at the Peabody Branch. She was also the supervisor for Metro's high school branches located at Chelsea High School and Peabody Veteran's Memorial High School. Additionally, Mrs. Michel was chosen as an ambassador to Metro's Customer Service program, as an employee who exemplified service excellence.

In her new role, Mrs. Michel will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch office located at 922 Commonwealth Ave in Boston. This branch will be open May 2, 2011 as a result of the merger with University Credit Union. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Mrs. Michel will be responsible for the training and development of her staff as well as contribution to a Training & Development taskforce, delivering classroom training to new employees.

Mrs. Michel earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business & Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, and is completing her MBA in Accounting & Finance at the school as well. Mrs. Michel resides in Haverhill with her husband. She volunteers, and this year serves as Race Director, for Run for the Roses, an event that benefits two women's crisis centers.
