Michael Jordan Promoted at  Metro Credit Union  

Chelsea, MA – July 5, 2011 – Metro Credit Union President and CEO Robert M. Cashman announced that Michael Jordan has been promoted to Vice President, Branch Administrator.
Throughout his career at Metro, Jordan has demonstrated his abilities, refined his leadership skills, and taken on additional responsibilities related to retail administration. In recognition of his admirable performance in his current role and in conjunction with his assumption of additional responsibilities that will be shifted to him from his manager, Senior Vice President of Retail, Paul Swart, Jordan has been promoted to Vice President, Branch Administrator.
With over 10 years of previous banking experience at Salem Five Bank and Marblehead Savings Bank, Jordan joined Metro Credit Union in 2005 as Branch Manager of the Peabody Office and has since filled many roles at Metro. In 2010, Jordan was promoted to the newly created position of Assistant Vice President, Branch Operations, taking on responsibility for overseeing daily retail operations, including staffing and security of the branches and the Member Service Center.
Jordan is President of the Everett Rotary Club, an active member of the Odd Fellows, and volunteers through the “Everybody Wins” program at the Hooks School in Chelsea. He is also the Treasurer of the Massachusetts School Bank Association. Jordan earned his Master’s Degree in Leadership at Northeastern University and his Bachelors’ Degree in Finance and Bank Management from Bentley University. He also has received Call Center Management Certification from Purdue UniversityJordan currently lives in Peabody with his wife and their four children.
