Leading Banking Trade Evaluation Sees Metro CU Leap Forward in Both Purchase and Refi Mortgages

CHELSEA, Mass. (August 27, 2013) – Metro Credit Union, the Commonwealth’s largest state-chartered credit union, was today recognized for taking a strong step forward in Banker & Tradesman’s annual “Fast50” ranking of the fifty fastest-growing mortgage lenders in Massachusetts. The magazine’s ranking saw Metro CU jump 19 spots, to eighth place overall in refinance/second mortgages. On the purchase/money mortgages ranking, Metro CU jumped almost half the pack to debut at 27th on the ranking.

The “Fast50” ranking appeared in the August 26, 2013 edition of Banker & Tradesman, a top trade real estate trade magazine.
