Metro Announces New Branch on Mass Ave in Boston


Boston, MA -April 28, 2011 -Metro Credit Union President and CEO Robert M. Cashman, is pleased to announce that it will open its first full-service branch in Boston at 1071 Mass Ave in May.

The new location marks Metro's 10th branch and is steps away from the South Bay Plaza. This branch will provide members living in the Boston area convenient banking right at their doorstep. This state-of-the-art branch features a drive-thru teller, drive-thru ATM, free coin counting machine, and an Internet Cafe. The Boston branch will also feature a community room, available to local organizations for meetings and workshops. Marlene Collins will serve as Branch Manager for the Boston location. Mrs. Collins holds over 35 years of retail banking experience and will oversee the daily operations as well as development of consumer and business relationships for the branch. Assistant Managers Stacey Johnson and Elma Mandzo will be working alongside Mrs. Collins.

Hours of operation for the branch will be as follows: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:30am - 5:00pm; Thursday & Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm; and Saturday: 8:30 am - 1:00 p.m. To better accommodate early morning members, the drive-thru window will be open at 7:30 am Monday - Friday, and at 8:30 on Saturday.
