John Imbergamo joins Metro Credit Union Board of Directors 

 

BOSTON, MA July 19, 2011- Robert M. Cashman, President and CEO of Metro Credit Union, is pleased to announce that John Imbergamo has been appointed to Metro’s Board of Directors at the company’s Annual Meeting.
 
Imbergamo served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for University Credit Union for 11 years, and has been on their board since 1995. Imbergamo joins Metro’s board as a result of the recent merger between the two institutions.
 
“We are delighted to welcome John to Metro’s Board of Directors,” stated Robert M. Cashman, President and CEO of Metro Credit Union. “John’s extensive experience at Boston University will be a tremendous asset to Metro and he will be a great addition to our team,” Cashman added.
 
Imbergamo brings to the Board more than 35 years of experience in Finance. He began his career at Boston University in 1976 and currently serves as Senior Associate Vice President for Financial Affairs. Imgerbamo earned his BSBA in Accounting at Suffolk University in Boston and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
