Metro Credit Union to participate in Community Home Buyer Fairs


Chelsea, MA – April 27, 2009 – As one of MassHousing’s most active mortgage lenders on the North Shore, Metro Credit Union has been invited to participate in two of their upcoming “Opportunity Knocks” homebuyer fairs.  The fairs will provide information on financing options and services available for homebuyers and on the incentives that are available to first-time homebuyers.  The fairs are a collaboration between MassHousing, the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Bankers Association, the Massachusetts Credit Union League, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership and the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association.

The fairs on the North Shore will be held:

  Saturday, May 2nd, Northshore Mall, Peabody, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

  Saturday, May 9th, Square One Mall, Saugus, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
