On November 6, once the upgrade is complete, after you log in to online banking, you will be prompted to take two quick steps to create a new secure log in.
The new enhanced security will require that you update your online banking log in.
Here's how:
If your current log in does not meet the enhanced security standard upgraded minimum requirements, you will be prompted to create a new username and/or password. User IDs must be six characters long and they can't be made up of only numbers (e.g. alphabetic or alphanumeric). They can be made up of a combination of letters, numbers and the following special characters: @$*_-=!~. Your password must be six or more characters long and must contain both letters and numbers and/or symbols.
Get an access code. Once you have created a new secure log in, you'll be prompted to enter your phone number when you log in. We'll use this phone number to immediately send you an access code via text and/or automated voice message.
Please note: You can ask the system to remember your computer or mobile device so you do not need to repeat this step every time you log in. However, you will need a new access code for each computer/mobile device not recognized by the system.
