Membership Eligibility

Joining Metro Credit Union is easy!  You can join Metro Credit Union with only a $5 deposit to a regular savings account.  There are three convenient ways to establish membership and open an account at Metro.  Simply fill out our online Membership Application, or visit with a Member Service Representative at any of our Branch Office Locations, or give us a call at 1-877-MY-METRO.

Who can Join

• Membership in Metro Credit Union is open to anyone who lives, works or has a place of business in Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Plymouth,Barnstable or Worcester counties.
  
  
• Over 1,800 local employers offer the Metro at work program.  Through Metro’s payroll deduction service, you can save by having automatic deposits from your paycheck – in the amount of your choice – made to your Metro accounts each pay period.  Call us at 1-877-MY-METRO to find out if your employer offers the benefit of Metro at work.
